Our School Age Program

6 Years – 11 Years

At the Historical Child Care Center, we understand the importance of fostering responsibility and accountability in school age children. As they progress in age, it is crucial for them to learn how to handle homework, self-control, and social conflicts. Our program is designed to not only meet the Ohio Standards and Guidelines, but also to help children develop into responsible citizens through engaging projects. Students will have the opportunity to complete their homework in a supportive environment and explore the fascinating subjects of Math and Science, Reading and Literacy, Social Studies and Technology, Music, Movement and Art in creative and exciting ways. Additionally, they will have the chance to express themselves through individual, small and large group projects in the field of Expressive Arts.
